A modern mix. That’s Waverley Christian College’s new centre in Narre Warren!

A big project always brings a big challenge: “how do we future proof it?” Every element must be carefully selected to not only stand up to task, but time, too. Every element must be both modern, yet timeless to avoid the inevitable creep of age.

The combination of Active Sled chairs and woodgrain tables was the solution Waverley were looking for, even going a stride further; using bold white bases and chairs. In the end, their admin centre become a stylish contrast of natural woodgrain against the clean and polished white surfaces.

Likewise, the stylish and stackable Acti Eco chairs were used to further that contrast in the student areas, adding some welcome warmth to the wide open study spaces and pairing well with the custom Quad Lounges.

Finally, to match classroom areas, our black frame Hercules and Universal tables were paired with with our classic black Active Sled chairs to keep that subtle sense of familiarity.

The centre had become a warm and welcoming place, filled with modern but practical furniture ready for the many years ahead.
