Library Reimagined at Charles La Trobe College

At Charles La Trobe, the goal was to transform the library into a vibrant hub for discovery and everyday learning.

The fitout was designed to support easy browsing and comfortable reading, with mobile curved shelving creating flow and flexibility throughout the space. Paired with cosy blue lounges, students can settle in and engage with their next favourite book in a relaxed setting.

With a thoughtful balance of function and atmosphere, the design brings together movement, comfort and accessibility, creating a space that feels welcoming, practical and engaging for students.

It’s been rewarding to see this library evolve into a place where learning and curiosity naturally come together.
